I’ve been MIA due to some back problems but hopefully I’m back in action now.  I think I missed a rally or two – if you don’t have a blog and would like to share pictures from a town hall/rally you’ve attended lately, send me an email with the details and I’ll post them for you.

Remember the good old days when Obama appointees were only tax cheats?  When being a communist wasn’t a resume-must?    Seems like only last week, right?  Well, last night I watched a re-broadcast of a Glenn Beck show from last week courtesy of Mad Conservative. I would not advise watching Beck right before bed, especially if you’ve been out of the loop.  I’d been reading more about Van Jones who I’d previously blogged about but this “chief diversity officer” of the FCC was a novel figure to me.  Mark Loyd has been selected by Obama to oversee the FCC and promote the causes of “tolerance,” “diversity,” and the buzzword that sends a ripple of panic through those of us who guard against the reappearance of the loathesome Fairness Doctrine, “localism.”  Also, Mr. Loyd is a big ol’ Hugo Chavez lover.  He’s been documented on film extolling the erm, virtues of Comrade Chavez.

What do you bet Mr. Loyd doesn’t just wear his Che Guevara t-shirts to be a freedom-hating hipster doofus like those historically ignorant teens you see at the mall or on college campuses?  The man reveres communism!  And our president – the US President – has appointed this man to oversee radio and television communications!

A communist overseeing our airwaves.  A communist in charge of the “green jobs” inititave – a man who converted to communism while he was in jail.  A communist and domestic terrorist held a fundraiser for our POTUS in his livingroom!

This is insanity.  These folks couldn’t pass a background check at a temp agency, but they’re in charge of US policy and report to NO ONE but the president.  Does anyone – anyone – have any doubts about Obama’s core values at this point in the game?  The only question that remains:  how long until the dollar collapses and we’re paying for food and gas with blue jeans?
