In an odd turn of events, a small modicum of justice was handed down today to the shakedown artists commonly known as ACORN. The community organizer group had been appointed by the White House to assist with gerrymander the congressional districts during the 2010 census. However, in light of yesterday’s revelations, the Census Bureau has told ACORN to speak to the hand.
This is not ACORN’s first transgression. It only took 400,000 confirmed cases of voter fraud, 40 arrests in numerous states, 20 guilty pleas, 14 state investigations and the human trafficking/tax evasion/illegal alien allegations before the government finally distanced themselves from the corrupt institution. But they’re still getting somewhere in the neighborhood of $8.5 BILLION in stimulus money. Unbelievable. But a good start. Now let’s stop the cash flow to these crooks.
