Kevin Jennings has just been appointed by Obama as the “safe schools czar” and is tasked with keeping drugs out of public schools.  Here’s a little excerpt from his autobiography:

“I got stoned more often and went out to the beach at Bellows, overlooking Honolulu Harbor and the lights of the city, to drink with my buddies on Friday and Saturday nights, spending hours watching the planes take off and land at the airport, which is actually quite fascinating when you are drunk and stoned.”

Okay folks, two words:  HOME.  SCHOOL.  Isn’t this like Obama appointing, well, a drug user to oversee drug prevention in schools?  Obama’s got to be sitting in DC laughing his tail off, wondering what he can shock us with next, what other appointment he can make that’s hypocrisy in the flesh.

Between the uber-creepy musical ode from the Obamajugend below and this dude, it’s time to tell the government to get the heck out of our kids’ lives and STOP with the liberal indoctrination.  I am not okay with an unapologetic,  former (?) drug user tasked with drug prevention in public schools.  Why should anyone listen to him?  How is he a good example?  Why do liberals live by the meme “Do as I say, not as I do”?  I guess if you don’t believe in personal responsibility, hypocrisy is just collateral damage fit to be swept under the rug.  It’s beginning to feel a lot like Rome, right before it fell.

With respect to his appointment, Fox News reports Obama chose him because:

Jennings was appointed to the position largely because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools. In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student.

Mmmm.  Mmmm.  Mmmm.  Barack Hussein Obama.
